“The most industry experience per word on the web.”
Before we begin, today is the final day for you to join the book launch team for The Obvious Choice. Would love to have you join us.
All I ask is that you pre-order a minimum of two copies of the book (any combination of formats work: audio, kindle, hardcover) and upload your receipt(s) to www.theptdc.com/team
Hope to see you in there. We’re having a blast!
K, cool. Here’s what’s new this week.
Obvious Choice Podcast Episodes:
Money
1.
Here’s three quick ways coaches can change their pricing structure to make more money:
a. Sell a transformation program, not monthly training (higher perceived value. More clear outcomes.)
b) Pay-in-full up-front discounts. (Cash in hand is better than cash owed.)
c) Charge bi-weekly vs. monthly. (Months don’t have four weeks. On average, a month has 30.42 days, not 28. When you charge monthly, you’re losing out on 2.42 days revenue.)
2.
Or you being mindful, or is your mind full?
Health
1.
There’s a paradox with fitness that, while working out is hard, living out of shape is harder. Much of our current culture suggests that we should work to get to a point where we no longer need to work. This isn’t correct.
There’s a lot of good waiting for you on the other side of tired.
Relationships
1.
Your blocked-off personal and family time is just as important as your administrative, operational, and marketing time. Treat is as equally important when crafting your schedule. Without it, you cannot be relaxed, joyful, and healthy. If you do not take care of yourself, you cannot take care of others.
A Few Good Quotes from a Great Book
“The sort of life that I had had previous to this popular success was one that required endurance, a life of clawing and scratching along a sheer surface and holding on tight with raw fingers to every inch of rock higher than the one caught hold of before, but it was a good life because it was the sort of life for which the human organism is created.”
“I was not aware of how much vital energy had gone into this struggle until the struggle was removed.”
“The heart of man, his body and his brain, are forged in a white-hot furnace for the purpose of conflict (the struggle of creation) and that with the conflict removed, the man is a sword cutting daisies”
From The Catastrophe of Success by Tennessee Williams
