First, here’s what’s new this week.

*If you only listen to one, make it this one.
Money

Great readers quit books they don’t like, hop around ones they do, and reread a few gems yearly. If a book is bad, stop reading it. If it’s good, read it twice.
The harder someone tries to convince you to trust them, the less you should. Beware the convincing conman.
Health
1.
Be safe, but take risks.
Jump in the water, just remember to wear a life jacket.
“I think about this a lot when I ride my bicycle, which is the primary method of transportation for my kids.” Says David Ben Moshe.
“It might be safer to walk, or drive, or take the bus, but this method of transportation allows me to spend quality time with them and get my cardio in as a busy dad with two toddlers and baby.
“But that doesn’t mean I skip getting our helmets on to save time.
“Being reasonably safe is important and it should be a consideration but there are countless decisions in life where it is nothing short of foolish to always pick the “safest” option.”
Safety third.
Relationships
1.
Don’t lie.
No lies.
None.
Do not deceive anybody, ever. Do not tell white lies. Always tell the truth.
Lying degrades trust. Without trust, you have nothing.
2.
77% of car accidents happen within 10 miles of a person’s home. When you allow yourself to go on autopilot, you ignore the details. Don’t get dulled by familiar settings.
Even the smallest patch of grass has an entire micro-ecosystem. Stare at it. You’ll see. It’s really quite amazing.
The Universe is only as large as your perception of it. You have the power to alter that perception. Sometimes, a large universe is better. Other times, honing our ability to notice and appreciate the finer details in life—much like focusing on a single piece of bark in an entire forest—is how we can enhance our creative output.
A Few Good Quotes from a Great Book
“If you break little promises you’ll break big ones.”
“People were always getting ready for tomorrow. I didnt believe in that. Tomorrow wasnt getting ready for them. It didnt even know they were there.”
“Just remember that the things you put into your head are there forever, he said. You might want to think about that.”

Sitting here, trying to think of something funny, or witty, or wise. But all I can think about is tacos. So here’s what I’ve got for you: Be merry, eat tacos. Yeah, that’s not a good phrase. Not particularly clever. But it’s damn good live advice. Ok, smell ya later,
